This scene of Lake Crescent was photographed by 1906, looking west from the west side of Barnes Point. Rose
Saylor was proprietor of the Marymere Hotel. Rose
Saylor married Henry Littleton on December 18, 1906, at Lake Crescent. Rose (Saylor) Littleton and Mary Daum
later started Rosemary Inn, which was named from a
combination of their first names. This postcard has two postmarks on the back, both dated Sept. 8, 1906,
from the Piedmont Post Office and the Port Crescent
Post Office, and also a postmark on the front, dated Sept. 14, 1906, from a Seattle Post Office.
