Ovington's Resort
Lake Crescent, Washington

This scene shows the living room of the main lodge or “guest house” that was
at Ovington's Resort, on Lake Crescent, Washington. Adjoining the living room was a
large dining room with a row of a dozen south facing windows which provided a scenic view
of the lake.

This scene, photographed by 1929, is another view looking east across the living room of
the main lodge. An open door leading to the dining room can be seen in the background of
the photograph. A piano, phonograph, and library shelves can also be seen in the
background, indicating some of the forms of entertainment that were available to guests.
On the table, in the foreground of the photograph, there is a poker chip carousel holding
12 stacks of poker chips and two decks of playing cards.
